Community

We like to think of ourselves as a place like the bar in that old TV Sitcom, "Cheers." We are the place "where everybody knows your name."  If you want to have that kind of connection here at the OJC, finding your community within the larger synagogue community is a certain way to do that.  Planning a Men's Club or Sisterhood event, riding a bus to theater in New York with Hazak, visiting a group home for disabled adults, or working side by side to prepare dinner for our homeless guests through Helping Hands, there is a way for you to come to know others and be known here.  Find out which pathway is the right one for you.
