Daily Minyanim

The OJC is one of the few places in the area where one can find a daily evening minyan. The service is short and the dress is informal, but we appreciate the power of a community that understands the obligation to provide a daily minyan. We offer a place to connect with God daily, a place where people connect with each other, share news, offer support, and catch up on local and world events. Our daily minyan provides a place of comfort for mourners who come to say Kaddish, or to meet others who are experiencing the bereavement process.

The OJC's daily minyan will travel to local homes where a congregant has experienced the loss of a loved one. For congregants who don't live in the immediate vicinity of the OJC, the community organizes and conducts additional services in those homes.

The OJC also supports three morning minyanim. Sundays at 8:45a.m. and Thursdays at 6:45 a.m., the community conducts a traditional morning service. Tuesdays at 8:45 a.m., an alternative service with study, meditation and discussion is an uplifting way to start the day.
