Introduction to the OJC

The atmosphere at OJC is warm and welcoming, inclusive and participatory. We conduct evening minyans every day of the week, morning minyans on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, a family service one Friday night each month -- and, of course, Shabbat and holiday services year-round.

Our synagogue plays host to an extensive variety of social, charitable, educational and outreach programs serving the entire Jewish community -- and the community at-large.

We invite you to join us in prayer, study, social action -- and interaction. We welcome your participation and input in helping us shape our committed and vibrant community.

We invite you to share the warmth and spirit of Rockland County's fastest-growing Conservative Jewish congregation!

There are membership plans for every budget -- and of course, High Holiday Tickets are included at no additional charge.

The OJC offers something for every interest and need -- a vibrant Religious School and Youth Program, active Sisterhood and Men's Club, a broad and stimulating spectrum of Adult Education programs, and unique programs geared to those with special spiritual needs.

And our worship services? Well, they are nothing short of enlightening and soul-stirring.

Call or e-mail the OJC office during business hours and ask to speak with Krista Bohn, our office administrator. She will cheerfully put you in touch with our membership chairpersons, Evelyn Winikoff and Esther Berkowitz.
