Strategic Planning at the OJC

Your OJC has committed itself to dreaming, sharing vision and the spirit of kehilla kedosha, a holy community.

This process formalized itself in 1996, when a strategic planning committee was formed and tasked with setting a course, in five year intervals, for the future of our synagogue.

Here, in this section of our OJC website, we introduce our strategic planning activities to newcomers and reinforce our current work for those already aware of our past accomplishments.

We do this so that each congregant can play his/her important part. So that each of us can step up and play our part in making sure that the OJC will continue to be all that it can and must be: The Jewish Center of choice in the Rockland County/Bergen County area, and that it will do so according to the tenets of the Conservative movement -- always innovating within the constraints of sound finances.

Contact our strategic planning chair, Nohra Leff, to volunteer your insights and talent.
