Happy New Year from the Sisterhood!

We have much to look forward to. Please save the date for a very different Sisterhood Shabbat. On February 4 we will celebrate Shabbat with a special Kiddush, a seudah shlishi and a very special scholar-in-residence, Rabbi Daniella Kolodny, former U.S. Navy chaplain, who is currently living in London and working as the Community Development Coordinator for the Assembly of Masorti Congregations in Great Britain. On March 25, we will have a fashion show, brunch, and gift auction. We are seeking “models” of all ages to wear the fashions from Annie Sez. We are also looking for volunteers to solicit donations for the gift auction. This is an important fundraiser for the Sisterhood and the Religious School, so please give us your support.

This past November, we had a wonderful book chat on The Prime Ministers. Our next one will be on The Dovekeepers, now on the N.Y. Times best-seller list. Our book chats are something special! Rhoda Pochter is a marvelous facilitator and our discussions are lively. It’s a great way to get together with our Sisterhood family.

Of course, Sisterhood has many more great happenings in the works for 2012. Be sue to join us and be a part of a meaningful, exciting and fun Sisterhood year!
