The OJC is one of the few places in the area where one can find a daily evening minyan. The service is short and the dress is informal, but we appreciate the power of a community that understands the obligation to provide a daily minyan. We offer a place to connect with God daily, a place where people connect with each other, share news, offer support, and catch up on local and world events. Our daily minyan provides a place of comfort for mourners who come to say Kaddish, or to meet others who are experiencing the bereavement process.

The OJC's daily minyan will travel to local homes where a congregant has experienced the loss of a loved one. For congregants who don't live in the immediate vicinity of the OJC, the community organizes and conducts additional services in those homes.
