Affiliating with a congregation is an expression of and commitment to faith -- AND the greater Jewish community.

The OJC relies on the financial support of its congregants to retain the unique and superlative clergy and professional staff that make the OJC "the place to be" among Conservative synagogues in Rockland and Bergen Counties. And to provide the programs and services our community requires for worship, learning, celebration and grieving.

We know budgeting for synagogue membership can be challenging in our current economy, especially for singles, young families and senior citizens. Which is why there is a membership plan for every need at the OJC.

Further, the OJC no longer mandates a building fund contribution in addition to your annual dues (though voluntary contributions, badly needed to sustain our physical plant, are gratefully welcomed).
