Families with young children are integral members of the OJC community. They and their grown-ups enjoy a wide array of opportunities to connect with each other and the community. From song-filled, playful Shabbat experiences to identity-building programs, families find time to be together and grow Jewishly. Children and their grownups find moments of wonder and joy.
All programs for young families are free and open to the entire community. Email Rabbi Hersh for more information about upcoming programs.
In addition to special programs throughout the year, join us at our monthly Friday night shabbat service and dinner (EKS) program for families with young children:
Early Kabbalat Shabbat (EKS):
Third Friday of Every Month (September-May) - 5:45 pm
Join us for an musical family service and FREE Shabbat dinner. This informal experience is a perfect introduction into Shabbat - and a great way to meet other families.
