The OJC Men’s Club seeks to strengthen participation of men in service to the synagogue, foster the ideals of Conservative Judaism, explore our roles as Jewish men, and have a good time doing so. We are part of the Hudson Valley Region of the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs and so we have connections throughout the world. Through the FJMC we have brought in new programs to supplement those that have been in place. Some of our projects include: Sukkah Palooza ( the sukkah construction), the Bruce Cowen Scholarship fund, a Purim Carnival, Bicycle Raffles, the Yellow Candle Program (for Yom HaShoah), and numerous Social Events. We plan lecture series, such as a visit from a former Israeli ambassador, and music programs, such as a Sunday Brunch concert by renowned jazz pianist Jon Weber.
