YOUNG FAMILIES

Families with young children are integral members of the OJC community. They and their grown-ups enjoy a wide array of opportunities to connect with each other and the community. From song-filled, playful Shabbat experiences to identity building programs, families find time to be together and grow Jewishly. Children and their parents and grandparents find moments of wonder and joy. All programs for young families are free and open to the entire community.

In addition to special programs throughout the year, join us at these ongoing programs for families with young children:

Shabbat Breakfast Club: Join us on the 2nd Saturday of each month (September-May) from 8:30-9:30 a.m. for singing, stories, Shabbat, shmooze and breakfast. This informal service is followed by breakfast - a perfect way to start your day - when your children have already been awake for hours!

Early Kabbalat Shabbat (EKS): Join us on the 3rd Friday of each month (September-May) at 5:45 p.m. for an musical family service and FREE Shabbat dinner. This informal experience is a perfect introduction into Shabbat - and a great way to meet other families.
