Krista Bohn

Krista joined the OJC in March 2000. She is responsible for the inner workings of our synagogue and oversees its daily operations and maintenance. She handles everything from general inquiries and membership questions to information on our programs and services. Krista's is the first friendly and helpful voice you'll hear when you call the OJC office, and she is beloved as our resident "miracle worker." There is virtually no assistance she can't provide -- and if there is a question she can't answer, she'll find someone who can!

Deb Klock

When Krista is busy or away from the OJC office, Deb will be at the ready to assist you with any OJC needs or questions. Deb has served as our office assistant for ten years, and previously served as a teacher in our Kulanu program -- where she is affectionately known as "Morah Devorah."

Amichai Margolis
Music Educator

Amichai is the lead singer/guitarist/bandleader of "Scooby Jew," our educational Jewish rock band. He also serves as the "Minister of Music (Rosh Shira)" at the Lower School of the Leffell Jewish Day School in Westchester County. Amichai is the Musical Director at Camp Ramah in Nyack, where is known affectionately as "Amichai the Music Guy."

Amichai was a musical arranger and singer with "Pizmon" at Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary, and teaches an a cappella master class each summer at Camp Ramah in New England. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI., he founded the Jewish a cappella group, "Kol B'yachad" at neighboring Brown University.

He loves sharing his love of Judaism through music with our young people and our congregation at large. 

Aman Brown

Aman Brown calls Suffern, NY, home, where she lives with her husband, Erick, their two energetic children, Aarya and Aaron, and their new playful puppy, Leia. For more than a decade, Aman built a successful career in finance and banking before choosing to step back and focus on raising her family. Along the way, she worked at Kulanu as the Assistant to the Education Director for a few years. This allowed her to build a relationship with our younger congregants. She has served on her school’s PTA board for many years, helping to lead and support a variety of community and student-focused initiatives. 

Aman is now a member of the OJC financial team, where she assists congregants with questions or concerns about ShulCloud and their billing. She looks forward to using her experience to contribute and make a meaningful impact at the OJC.

Miranda Price
Youth Advisor

Miranda grew up at the OJC -- she can't remember the first time she set foot in our shul! But our congregation does -- she received her Hebrew name on our bimah, celebrated her Bat Mitzvah here -- and has been a constant presence in our sanctuary, school and youth programs for more than two decades. An honors graduate of the Dyson School at Cornell University, with a degree in applied economics and management, Miranda works by day in public service in NYC. 

Miranda served as an aide in our religious school, and served as president of the OJC's USY chapter when it won International Chapter of the Year for the 2018-2019 year. Her passion for nurturing Jewish youth hasn't waned at all since then. She is adored by our kids and our adults alike. We welcome her as an energetic new addition to our professional team.

Look up "indispensable" in the dictionary, and you'll see a picture of Joe! Joe is our custodian, groundskeeper, Mr. Fixit, and all-around Johnny-on-the-spot whenever our building -- or its occupants -- need critical TLC, and fast. 

If you need to know where things are, or how things work in or around our physical plant, Joe is your "shul whisperer." Not to mention one of the nicest and hardest-working guys you'll ever meet.
